Vivian Varner

Vivian Lucille (Phillip) Varner, 81, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 25th, 2020 at Ashtabula County Medical Center. She was born on November 26th, 1938 in Painesville, Ohio.  She was the daughter of Fred and Ruth Phillip.

Vivian enjoyed many hobbies throughout her life; cooking, cleaning and listening to Country music. Above all the most important part of Vivian's life was her family; she had the wonderful privilege of caring and raising her eight children, watching her many grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up over the years. She especially enjoyed spending the holidays with her family, attending summer cookouts and picnics.

She is survived by her son, Gary L. Haynes; her daughters: Terry (Bill) Hale and Peggy (Daniel) Jones, 26 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Haynes, her second husband, Ted Varner; her children: Billy Haynes, Rick Haynes, Timmy Haynes, Ruth "Sis" Jacobs and Roger "Scooby" Haynes.

A public visitation will be held at Czup Funeral Home in Ashtabula on Thursday, July 30th, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow from 7:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
