Paris Wilson Obituary

Paris Charles Wilson, 44, passed away December 2, 2021 at UH Elyria Medical Center following a very brief illness.

He was born in Lorain on March 13, 1977 the son of Charles Wilson and Gabrielle Gray-Hill.  He had worked for both the Elyria Foundry and the Ford Motor Company

He is survived by his mother Gabrielle (Gray) Hill; his loving wife Brandi (Williamson) Wilson; his children who were his life: Dakota Baisden, Isiah Wilson, Paris Wilson, Trey White, Etta Wiseman and Mariah Williamson; his siblings: Curtis Gray, DeMann Wilson, Appril Grant-Wilson, Sharn Wilson, Trey Jones, Charles Jones, Jr. and Vicky Jones; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, his sister Shean Johnston and his brother Dwhite Portis

Paris lived a life full of laughter, happiness and love. Paris was a hard worker and put 100% in to everything he did. He really enjoyed gaming and sketching.  He loved spending time with his children, they were his reason for living; he just loved all kids in general.  He was known as “Uncle P” to so many. Of course, everyone’s kids loved him; because Paris was always just a kid at heart himself.

Paris was loved by so many, just as he loved so many so very deeply. He was very passionate about all of those that he cared for and to know him was truly a blessing.

Just as Paris was always so very giving during his life it didn’t stop him from doing the very same in death.  Paris was a registered organ donor.  His family is so very proud to say that Lifebanc notified them that he personally saved the lives of 3 different people.  He will always be a hero to those three strangers just as he always will be to his family.

Funeral services to celebrate Paris’ life will be held on Saturday December 11, 2021 at the Woodford Avenue Ministry of Reconciliation COGIC, 225 Woodford Avenue, Elyria, Ohio 44035; visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 with funeral services starting at 2:00; Pastor Elder Bobby Calloway and Evangelist Patricia leading the services.  The family asks that all who attend the services please wear masks for the safety of the older relatives.
