H. Griffith

GENEVA-  H. Michael Griffith, 70, passed peacefully on January 16, 2021 at Saybrook Landing following a three year battle with Alzheimer’s.
Born January 6, 1951 in Conneaut, Ohio, son of Boyd B. Griffith, Sr. and Alice (Bathurst) Griffith.  He lived in Geneva for the past fifteen years.

He was employed at Emco Wheaton in Conneaut for nineteen years and retired from JM Performance Products in Fairport Harbor, Ohio on January 10, 2020.
Mike was a hard worker and enjoyed fishing, mowing the lawn, walks at Presque Isle, Pennsylvania and most of all spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of almost 48 years, Diane (Swyers) whom he married on March 28, 1973 in Conneaut; children Melanie (Jason) Carmack of Geneva; Adam (Jessica) Griffith of Auburn, Indiana; grandchildren Kellen Carmack and Grayson, Jaxon and Mollie Griffith and nieces and nephews of Pennsylvania.

He was preceded  in death by his parents; brother-in-law Bob Swyers and his wife Sue Swyers.

At Mike’s request there will be no services.  A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
